The Hoffman Arc AWS 4043 aluminum electrode is made of alloy coatings and foundry of Al – Si types. Only with positive electrode. The coverage of this electrode provides a gas to protect the arc, provides a flux to dissolve the alumina (aluminum oxide) and a protective slag to cover the weld strip.
